Making it official! Our new Vicar, Revd Richard Magrath, was collated on 3rd April, 2025. Big smiles as he and his family join the St Ed's community! (April 2025).

Tea from fancy cups, posh sandwiches and the most amazing cakes...then a boogie of course! That's the way we do avo tea round here! (March 2025).

The first signs of spring are emerging in the Community Garden! It was lovely to see some new volunteers, as well as familiar faces. (February 2025).

The Mottingham Foodbank and Community Garden were delighted to welcome volunteers to their first monthly volunteering session. This included members of Good Gym. Come and join us the third Saturday of every month. Anytime you can spare between 10-2. We would love to see you! (January 2025).

A MASSIVE THANK YOU for your donations to the Mottingham Foodbank Toy Drive!!!

During December, our Foodbank ran it’s Toy Drive, collecting new gifts, toys and selection boxes for those children who may not otherwise have received much this Christmas. With the help of the local community, local churches, the Rotary Club, our Foodbank volunteers, alongside the many gifts kindly collected by the West Kent Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association, (in association with The Mayor of Bromley), together we made sure many children had wonderful gifts to open on Christmas Day! (December 2024).

THIS IS COMMUNITY!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to all those who donated to the Mottingham Foodbank at St Edward's as part of Harvest Festival this month! From the local residents, parishioners and congregations of St Edward's and St John's churches, to the pupils of Ravensworth, Elmstead Woods, and Eltham Church of England Primary Schools, and the Year 7 pupils at Eltham Hill School, your kindness is felt and appreciated by so many. (September 2024).

A few more blooms from our Community Garden…Wonder if anyone got those two strawberries before the squirrels found them peeking out from the wheelbarrow! (Summer 2024).
